General information

Renewables Events are organized by Renewables Finland, Finland’s leading and trusted renewable energy association, founded in 1988. The association represents the country’s major investors in onshore and offshore wind power, solar energy, and related energy storage.

The association shares information and supports the development and operation of renewable energy in Finland by acting as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge-sharing across the renewable energy sector.

Renewable energy events are organized to accelerate the development of renewable energy by connecting people, ideas, and solutions. Our events create a shared space to discuss industry trends, policies, innovations, and practical experiences that move the energy transition forward.

We strongly believe that the best ideas and collaboration comes from real interaction and face-to-face encounters, which is why we want to create high-quality events that make it easy and enjoyable for the renewable energy community to come together to connect, share insights, and build lasting partnerships.

Our events are designed for professionals across the renewable energy value chain, including developers, investors, policymakers, technology and service providers, consultants, researchers, and public authorities. They are also relevant for anyone interested in the future of renewable energy in Finland and the wider Nordic region.

Our vision is to build a sustainable, competitive, and responsible renewable energy sector. In our events, we value openness, high-quality content, collaboration, and constructive dialogue. We aim to foster an inclusive atmosphere where diverse perspectives are respected and innovation is encouraged.

High-quality event experiences and excellent customer service are core to our values, reflected in carefully curated content, speakers, and venues, as well as attentive and reliable service that ensures a smooth, welcoming, and professional experience for every participant.

Sustainability is an integral part of how we plan and deliver our events. We prioritise responsible partners and venues, minimise environmental impacts, and promote sustainable choices in catering, materials, and logistics.

In practice, this means actively reducing our ecological footprint by minimising food waste through careful planning and portioning, choosing durable and recyclable materials, and prioritising recycling while preventing unnecessary waste. Responsibility is also reflected in our catering choices: we favour locally sourced ingredients and offer menus based on plant-based options, fish, and game, supporting both sustainability and local food culture.
